Snakes and Ladders

Snakes and Ladders, also known as “Chutes and Ladders” in some regions, is a classic board game that is simple to play kids and adults alike The game is played on a board with numbered squares arranged in a grid. The objective is to navigate one’s game piece, according to dice rolls, from the bottom square to the top square, helped by ladders and hindered by snakes. Players take turns rolling a dice to determine the number of squares their piece will move forward. Landing on a square that is the bottom of a ladder allows the player to climb up to the top of the ladder, advancing further along the board. Conversely, landing on the head of a snake causes the player’s piece to slide down to the tail of the chute, moving back on the board. The first player to reach the final square wins. The game requires no strategy, being purely a game of chance, making it especially popular among young children.
